CLARIFICATION TEXT ON SECURITY CAMERAS

Any and all personal data kept by us, as FİLMHAKİKA MEDYA LTD.ŞTİ, in capacity of data supervisor, are processed, stored and transferred in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“LPPD”), in the direction of the importance that we attach to the security of your personal data.

This clarification text has been prepared to inform the concerning persons whose personal data are collected, stored and processed by our company acting in capacity of data supervisor, pursuant to the Article 10 - “The Data Supervisor’s Obligation of Clarification” of Law on the Protection of Personal Data and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Clarify.       

PURPOSES OF PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Your video images are processed and recorded for the purposes of ensuring the security of physical space and buildings, ensuring personal safety, following up the claims and complaints, keeping the entry and exit records of guests and visitors, providing information to the legally authorized persons, organizations and institutions, and being used as evidence in legal situations.

TRANSFER AND PURPOSE OF TRANSFER OF VIDEO IMAGES TO 3RD PARTIES

Your video images may be transferred to the legally authorized persons, organizations and institutions, the Directorate General of Security and other law enforcement forces, the lawyers, regulators and auditor that are authorized by you and to any and all judicial authorities for being used as evidence.     

METHOD AND LEGAL GROUND FOR COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Your visual data which are formed by the video images that are taken by the surveillance cameras installed for the purposes of ensuring the security of the buildings/plants and of the safety of other people in the gates, visitor waiting areas, and floor corridors, are collected for the above-mentioned purposes.     

Your image data are collected and processed on the legal grounds that “it is compulsory so that the data supervisor could fulfill its legal obligations” as per the Article 5/2-ç of and

that “it is a requisite for the data supervisor to process such data for its legitimate interests provided that such a processing does not harm one’s fundamental rights and liberties” as per the Article 5/2-f of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data.

YOUR RIGHTS

FİLMHAKİKA MEDYA LTD.ŞTİ informs the personal data owner of his/her rights pursuant to the Article 10 of the LPPD and guides the data owner in exercising such rights. The relevant rights of the persons are provided for in the Article 11 of LPPD.    

Pursuant to the Article 11 of LPPD, you, as the concerning person, may have recourse  to the data supervisor and have the rights to  

a) find out if or not your personal data are processed,

b) request details and clarification if your personal data has been processed,

c) find out the purpose for which your personal data are processed and if they are used in line with the intended use,

ç) be aware of the third parties to which their personal data within the country or abroad, 

d) request correction of any of their personal data if they have been processed incompletely or incorrectly

e) request for deletion or destruction of the personal data subject to the conditions listed in the Article 7,

f) request that any action taken pursuant to the paragraphs (d) and (e) be notified to the third parties to which the personal data have been transferred,

g) raise objections to any result against him/her arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automatic systems,

ğ) claim the indemnification of any damages which may be incurred by you as a result of the illegal processing of the personal data. 

If you choose to exercise such right to recourse; 

you can personally submit a recourse in writing as originally signed to the address of Nisbetiye Mahallesi, Yücel Sokak, Akyıldız Sitesi 17/B Beşiktaş/İSTANBUL, send it through a notary public or transmit it to iletisim@filmhakika.com with your secure electronic signature or through the electronic mail previously provided to our company by you and saved in the system of our company.

The claims in your recourse will be responded free of charge within maximum thirty (30) days, depending on the nature of the claim.
